'Le grand inventeur' isn't 'Rob the rover' but another of Walter Booth's half a dozen adventure-strips: 'The Adventure seekers' from Lot-o-Fun. 'Roger de...' might be the same, it's not 'Rob' either.


Thank you for the corrected information. Le Samedi published over 100 different series of UK comics between 1918 and 1958. Most of them are not signed and very hard for me to identify. Would you look at the following internet link:

I have information that The Adventure Seekers ran in Lot-o-Fun starting in 1926. Roger le petit débrouillard ran in Le Samedi in 1924 and 1925. There is always a young boy, a young girl and a black an white dog in the strip. May ir be Tiny Tim by Walter Booth ?
